I just came back from a wedding ceremony :D it was so sweet!
the pastor made reference to a section of the bible, Corinthians i believe:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
and then he said the same passage again, but he replaced the word 'love' with the names of the bride and groom (Gemma and Colin). it was so nice!
i think when the time comes, i will always be the first to cry at every wedding
