Because then the world would fail and come to a stand still.

If you were in a race but you were the only competitor, would you slack off and walk because you knew you had already won, or would you still run your hardest anyaway?

i think some things just prove the kind of person you are- to everyone else and more importantly, to yourself.

should always keep trying sago :)

ok, before anyone goes hate mode on me, let me explain what i meant.

yes, i said something like this, but on paper/ screen, it sounds a hell of a lot different to how its meant too. sigh

anyways, tbh, if somebody can't be bothered then why would you? it's almost a reflex. think about it, with customers etc. If they don't bother giving you respect, then do you bother giving them respect and showing the same amount of niceness?

BUT i also said, there's always those exceptional few in your life you will. Just because they can't be bothered doesn't mean you shouldn't be bothered with them. It means you start trying harder. Even though you might try to delete them out of your mind or what not, you're still gonna have them in the back of your mind AND even if you do stop bothering with them...it's only for a short period.

Maybe you just wanna push them out of your mind for a bit and then get them at a better time? BUT you do have those exceptional few, that when they can't be bothered, it just makes you try harder. When you try your hardest and they still don't bother, you start to rethink your actions and so. BUt if this friendship or whatever is meant to be, if you try your hardest and they don't bother still...what does that tell you?

call me pessimestic, but in my mind it makes sense. well, it happens anyway.

(I bet you guys all hate me now...sigh)

=( i hate the fact that i feel i need to justify myself for the things i say or feel.

It's just that if i don't, it feels like people will perceive me the wrong way =(
