Hi,

I'm Des Hill, Director of Undergraduate Studies in the School of Maths and Stats.
I've been informed of the iniquitous situation that occured in the MATH1025/MATH2030
test this morning (8AM Wed April 8).

Please accept my apologies on behalf of the School of Maths and Stats - we should have
perfomed much better than that.

I've discussed that situation with the Associate Dean (Students) of the Faculty and her
advice is that the test should be marked and counted towards the final grade as
intended, and that the students affected by not having a test paper be given special consideration.
